The game went slow from start to extra time then to penalties as both side were cautious of making mistakes.
Although, the long run shootout came to a halt when the Ivorian goalie,
Barry Copa made an extraordinary 2 saves and firing home the last winner to keep the records of beating Ghana in two finals.

The man of the tournament award went to Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu who was brilliant from start to finish.
